The daisy belongs to the family of “vascular plants” which make up almost 10 % of all flowering plants on Earth. The flower can be found anywhere on Earth except Antarctica.
Its leaves are edible and can be very tasty in salad – they’re closely related to artichoke.
Daisies are thought to relieve indigestion, ease coughs, and slow bleeding. It’s said that if a gardener gets back pains, the daisy is his friend.
